My focus is on primarily established businesses that have seen several economical cycles. These types of business usually have at least some management and systems in place to be sustainable. Owners of this type of business are looking to exit their business to pursue other things usually or are nearing retirement.

The businesses we like are smaller to middle market business in this range. These business usually have a solid customer base, but could use benefit from modernization as far as marketing, sales and operational improvement.

About Me

Engineer, Investor, Family Man

Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Samson Kay, and I'm a Cambodian American hailing from Lowell, Massachusetts.

​

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnical Institute. In 2019, I received my MBA in General Business Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. These degrees have given me a well-rounded education that allows me to approach business problems from both an engineering and management perspective.

Over the last 15 years, I have worked in a variety of industries, including power (coal, oil and gas, and nuclear) and have designs and patents in several engineered products such as valves, pumps, and motors. My passion lies in management and strategy, and I have worked on dedicated project teams ranging from just six people to whole organizations as large as 50. During these experiences, I have developed a talent for launching new products, creating new patents, and growing businesses. These days I've switched my focus to strategic business acquisition and investing in Real Estate.

In my personal life, I currently reside in the Cincinnati, OH. I am happily married to my wife, Ellika, and we have two young children, Mila and Liam. Outside of work, I enjoy snowboarding, motorsports, and traveling. These hobbies allow me to recharge my batteries and explore new places and experiences.
